Well, that is certainly what we all wish for. The answer is simple – be better than your peers. How can you do that? First of all, make a list of your toughest competitors and rank them. Now, people will generally start on the top and move down the list. But, no – what you need to do is start from the bottom. It is more feasible to try to get better than those at the bottom because for you it is easier to get the edge over that person than the one at the top. In the list also include what is it about each of them that makes them better than you and work on that. Now, this was the individualistic approach. When it comes to the general approach, just strive to do better as a whole. Get more certification, become more skilled, take on more responsible and leadership roles let go of your hesitant nature and so on. Just try to improve yourself as a whole.
