This full-time, permanent, hands on, leadership role as a Manager of Manufacturing at a start to finish material processing industry leader. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate includes the following:
Managing the manufacture of products
Learning from the existing Manager of Manufacturing who is retiring
Planning / scheduling manufacturing employees and equipment
Participating in developing and implementing plans to increase production output by 100% via additions and improvements
Overseeing quality, health, safety, performance, and behavior
Maximizing productivity, quality, and safety by updating production methods
Reporting on manufacturing
Estimating and controlling costs / budgets.
Collaborating with others

The successful candidate will possess the following:
Four years of management experience with manufacturing, capital equipment, or fabrication
A four year degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or Production (or additional experience in lieu of a degree)
Production processes and techniques knowledge and experience
Formal quality program implementation knowledge
Flexibility
A customer satisfaction priority
Ability to spend significant time on the shop floor
Sound Microsoft Office skills
Preferred but not required experience includes any of the following:
Lean experience
Process improvement method knowledge.
Experience interpreting engineering drawings
Metal fabrication experience
ERP system implementation experience
