Head of Digital Marketing & Demand Generation

We need a eCommerce Demand Generation expert to help drive our rapidly growing eCommerce business. This player/coach will not only be defining strategy, but also executing a data driven approach to expertly grow the company's platform expansion, revenue generation and new customer acquisition.

Direct response digital marketing

Your data-driven strategies and flawless deployment will help the team surpass our targets for revenue, ROAs, and brand awareness. This critical position entails not only strategy development, but rolling up your sleeves, executing campaigns on a daily basis, and regularly reporting on results.

Responsibilities

  • SEM: Define strategy and expertly manage Adwords, Bing, and Amazon campaigns
  • Develop and refine reporting structure for Paid Search and other performance marketing channels.
  • Optimize campaigns based on campaign KPIs through testing initiatives including ad copy, keywords, bidding, landing page optimization and targeting
  • Manage data collection processes and ensure quality tracking across all channels
  • Maintain the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a growing marketing team that is taking concepts and converting them into executable growth, brand and content strategies
  • Manage advertising budget allocation across Google, Bing, Amazon, and social platforms
  • Create long-tail keyword strategy that maps to ad copy and landing page category strategy
  • Develop SEM creative strategies that map to common customer journeys
  • Create and manage retargeting strategies
  • Explore other opportunities for driving growth with paid marketing channels and build business cases for new expansion
  • Drive growth in our performance marketing channels by efficiently scaling conversion volume through testing and optimization
  • Explore new keywords and bidding strategies
  • Analyze performance of campaigns and ad sets
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and leverage emerging capabilities in the digital landscape

Qualifications

  • 6+ years successful experience in consumer eCommerce/site demand generation
  • Proven hands-on experience with Google Adwords, Analytics, Amazon and Shopify Plus
  • Adwords Certification
  • Must have successful experience managing Amazon campaigns
  • Background in eCommerce KPI measurements and optimization
  • Strong business analytical and quantitative skills resulting in data-driven decision-making skills
  • Excellent communications skills, attention to detail and ability to manage across multiple internal functional areas
  • Strong technical understanding of the systems that support a eCommerce business
  • A strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to understand and make sense of a variety of different data types
  • A doer who can easily shift between strategy development and tactical execution
  • An upbeat, professional, and positive attitude
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate and influence effectively across various departments.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects from strategy to execution
  • Excellent time-management skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt well to fast-paced working environment
